Anthony LoCascio speaks about his motivation for pursuing the role of financial advisor:
My parents always taught me that if you work hard, you can achieve the American dream… a nice house, vacations, a college education, and especially, a worry-free retirement. However, as I grew up, I realized that working hard isn't enough. Many people work hard and actually wind up retiring on very little or having to depend completely on Social Security. I watched my parents go from rags to riches to rags again. I ended up paying for my own education and my parents got divorced after 32 years of marriage. One of my biggest fears is ending up with no money. This drove me into financial planning and investment counseling. I studied finance, obtained numerous licenses and am constantly pursuing continuous education.
My practice is not merely
a business to me -- it is my passion. I want to share this information with as many people as possible. My goal is to arm my clients with financial knowledge
to take away fear of the unknown. Every person's finances tell a different story-- the road to financial freedom isn't something you can find by just
looking at the numbers. I believe that the advisor needs to really know the people--the personalities--behind the numbers to help them reach their financial
goals. My purpose is to educate my clients--to help them learn to avoid common pitfalls and make great choices, to feel confident and in control of their
